SLEEPING GIANT

One of Connecticut's most well-known State Parks, Sleeping Giant's labyrinthian trail system winds through the forest of a traprock mountain and the Quinnipiac River. Offering a wide range of terrain, this location is excellent for learning to make decisions when verticality is a factor.

CRESCENT LAKE

A meandering trail system ringing a crescent-shaped lake, diverting up the back of a traprock ridge. This location emphasizes footwork through wetland and undergrowth, as well as steady traversal and climbing along the traprock ridge.

SOUTHFORD FALLS

Located near my hometown, Southford Falls is a short looping trail best used for practicing decisive trail-breaking and bushwhacking. A short section of side-trail allows for some vertical pathing and sliding descent work down the moderate slope.

BULL'S BRIDGE

An iconic location in Western Connecticut, Bull's Bridge features a scenic hike along the rapids of the Housatonic River. While the trail itself is narrow, the forest surrounding it is sprawling and rolling with hills. The rapids themselves serve as a great setup for water challenges and reactive Parkour.

MEIGS POINT

A much smaller location than the others, Meigs Point offers a single point of interest: a near quarter mile stretch of  glacial stone deposit almost designed for working flow and threading along a natural course. The ocean sitting just beside is an added bonus.

SQUANTZ POND

Squantz sits beside the well-known Candlewood. But unlike Candlewood, Squantz hides away a beautiful trail system of wooded slopes and ravines. Squantz is a dark forest, thick in many places, and emphasizes seeking paths of low resistance as soon as you stray from the main trail.

LEON LEVY PRESERVE

A hidden gem in Westchester County, the Preserve sits inside a 370 acre biome of hardwood forest, wetland, and rocky ravine. The wide variety of bio and geo diversity creates a labyrinth for adaptive movement.
